Destin Vacation Rentals

Tuesday, March 16th, 2010

As striking as its name conveys, the Emerald Coast is a picturesque stretch of land that runs along the Gulf of Mexico and includes the upscale and always popular city of Destin. In a place where the beaches reign supreme, and everything else simply comes across as a side note in the grand scheme of beauty, staying along the sandy splendor in a Destin vacation rental is the perfect way to realize the Florida getaway you always imagined.

Although the sugary white sand at Henderson Beach State Park only runs for one-and-a-half miles, the quality of this stretch certainly makes up for its lack of quantity. The white expanse glows under the warm Florida sun and the emerald-green water, which seems even more brilliant as it brushes against its stark white neighbor, is as crystal clear as the waters of the Caribbean. Getting lost in your surroundings and forgetting that you are on mainland Florida, rather than a tropical paradise, is only the beginning of a memorable Destin experience.

Mexico Vacation Special At Azucar

Friday, March 5th, 2010

Azucar is near the small community of Monte Gordo, Veracruz, on Mexico’s Costa Esmeralda, bordering the Gulf of Mexico. As a choice for your luxury Mexico vacation, or Mexico Honeymoon, you would be pressed to choose a better destination than this intimate white walled and somewhat minimalistic hotel.

It is quite a long way from Veracruz airport to Azucar, but your vehicle will be airconditioned, and you’ll find the unspoiled Mexican towns and scenery fascinating over the two and a half hour trip.

When you arrive you’ll think Azucar is Paradise found, especially if you can book a villa right on top of the sea, with it’s spacious all white room, and a hammock you can lie and enjoy a cool beer, whilst listening to the sounds of the waves crashing onto the shore.

Is there anything I should see in Mexico when I go there for vacation this summer?

Friday, March 5th, 2010

I’m going to Mexico in Cancoon (did I spell that right?…I’m guessing not). I think you spell it “Cancun…”

Anyway, I’m going to Mexico in Cancun near the Gulf of Mexico, and I was just wondering if there were any sites/cities/landmarks or anything I should see while I’m there.

Also, is there anything I should watch out for? Any dangers aside from the possible salmenela infection of tomatoes and peppers.

Thanks for any input guys, and have a great rest of the summer before school starts….bleh

Why Not A Florida Vacation Rental Next Time!

Friday, March 5th, 2010

So you are planning another trip to Florida with the family! Why should you choose a Florida vacation rental? Because there’s nothing better than waking up to the sounds of seagulls and the breathtaking views found only along the white, powdery beaches of Florida’s Gulf of Mexico coastline. That is, of course, unless you’d rather dance into the wee hours of the morning at Miami’s hottest nightclubs and view some of the finest anatomy you’ve ever seen (even some that money can buy)! Either way, the view you’ll get of this popular tourist destination is guaranteed to be better if you see it from one of the many Florida vacation rentals that are available year-round.

Get Off The Beaten Path And Take A Mexico Fishing Vacation

Friday, March 5th, 2010

If you have never been to Mexico for a fishing trip you are missing a treat. With the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez on the west and the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean on the east, Mexico offers something for almost every type of fisherman, unless you are a lover of ice fishing! Mexico offers some of the best fishing in the world and has some interesting areas to explore as well.

The latest “secret” spot of globe trotting anglers is the Pacific coastal town of Huatulco in the area called the Oaxacan coast. This area is more off the beaten path and is not a tourist trap like many other areas of Mexico such as Cancun and Cozumel. If you are like most anglers, myself included, you are looking for a place to get away from it all and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. Huatulco offers exactly that with clear turquoise waters loaded with pelagic game fish such as Sailfish.
